Publishing should feel boring

The best publishing process is predictable. This playbook helps you keep results moving steadily so end-of-term is calm and controlled.

Set the gates

Decide what must be true before a class/subject can move forward. Fundokor works best when gates are clear.

• Teacher entry complete
• HOD review complete
• Missing entries resolved or approved as exceptions
• Any finance access rule checks complete (if used)

Use batches, not one big publish

Batch publishing reduces risk. It also gives you quick feedback if anything is misconfigured.

• Start with a small pilot batch (one grade or stream)
• Publish remaining batches by grade/section
• Confirm status after each batch before moving forward

Communication plan

Parents don’t need technical detail — they need clarity. Communicate timelines, what to expect, and where to ask for help.

• Send a pre-publish notice (date/time window, what’s included)
• Share a support contact and response expectations
• After publishing, send a simple confirmation
